Key Deer

The Key Deer are primarily found on Big Pine Key. A distant relative of the Virginia Whitetail, they are small and grow to about 26“-32” tall. Being overy docile they are very willing to meet anyone that would approach them. Please “do not feed” the deer.
The best time to find deer is just before sunset. Ask us for best locations

Here the trees and foliage are marked for identification.

Mr. Perky built the tower and brought in a flock of bats to eat the bugs. But unfortunatly the plan failed . In reality, the rumor holds that the mosquitos ate the bats.
